Julie A. Chessman - Neff

Funeral Director/Owner

Julie is the daughter of Sue A. (Swart) Chessman and the granddaughter of William (Bill) & Lois H. Swart. She is a 1991 graduate of West Carrollton High School and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has been employed by the funeral home for 24 years and served her Funeral Directors Apprenticeship under the direction of Donald Keighley. Julie has always resided in West Carrollton, and is married to her high school sweetheart, Eddie J. Neff. Together they have 2 children Gary J.W. Neff (Shelby Clark) & Abigail Sue Ann Neff, 2 granddaughters Evelyn Jean & Emma Annette “Emma Dale” Neff, along with their 2 dogs Peggy & Dixie.

Donald Keighley

Funeral Director/Embalmer

Don studied Art Education at the Miami University & Wright State University; he is a 1980 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He received the 1980 Bowsher Award for outstanding skill in restorative art. Don has been a Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer for 35 years and is the owner of Keighley Trade Embalming Service for 8 years. Don and his wife Kathy reside in Middletown; they have five children and seven grandchildren (8th grandchild coming soon!). He is a member of the Holy Family Parish, and sings in the choir, he is also a member of the Razors Edge Chorus (sings lead), Brookville Lodge #596, F & AM. He enjoys golf and fishing as well as singing while he works.
